Southwestern/Frewsburg beat Jamestown 14-7 in the Section VI nonleague flag football opener for both schools Wednesday at Strider Field. Mallory Atwater and Rozlyn Haglund scored touchdowns for Southwestern/Frewsburg, while Jaden Jimerson had a conversion and Haglund intercepted a pass. For Jamestown, Kayamar Strudwick had nine flag pulls and Gracie Melquist had five flag pulls. Nevaeh Robles and Abbee Brandow each had four flag pulls, including three for a loss. Kaylee Leeper ran for 73 yards and caught a 40-yard touchdown from Marcia McIntyre.
