Swanson Shoots Under Par
BUSTI — Carson Swanson shot under par for the first time in his high school career as Chautauqua Lake/Westfield beat Southwestern in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys golf Friday at South Hills Country Club.
Swanson shot a 2-under 34 in a 31-24 team win for Chautauqua Lake/Westfield (4-2, 3-1).
Ejuah Sarvaiya led the Trojans (6-2, 5-2) with a 52.

CASSADAGA — Evan Steffen shot even-par 36 to lead Maple Grove past Cassadaga Valley 28.5-26.5, but Falconer beat the Red Dragons 29-26 at Cassadaga Country Club.
In the third match, Falconer topped Cassadaga Valley 29-26. Logan Peterson led the Golden Falcons with a 37 and Jackson Marsh paced the Cougars with a 44.

OLEAN — Jamestown’s success on the links continued at Bartlett Country Club.
Led by a 1-over 36 from medalist Tyler Salvaggio and a 38 from Evan Maloney, the Red & Green improved to 10-0 overall and 8-0 in the league en route to a 38.5-16.5 win over Olean and a 40-15 victory over Clymer/Sherman/Panama.
The Huskies (7-3, 4-3) were led by Cam Bartman with a 47, while the Wolfpack (2-7, 1-5) were paced by Jordan Mescall and Ethan Johnson with 54 apiece.

OLEAN — Nilla Ecklof’s 44 earned her medalist honors and led Jamestown to a 38-17 victory over Olean at Bartlett Country Club.
The win raised the Red & Green’s record to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the league, while the Huskies fell to 0-2 and 0-2.
