Salvaggio Is Medalist At Cardinal Hills GC; Swanson Wins Honors At Breezewood
RANDOLPH — Behind a 1-over 37 by medalist Tyler Salvaggio, Jamestown improved to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the division following a pair of wins Thursday in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association golf match at Cardinal Hills Golf Course.
The Red & Green, which also had a 38 by Hunter Johnson and a 39 by Evan Maloney, defeated Maple Grove (2-5, 1-4) 35.5-19.5; and upended Clymer/Sherman/Panama (2-5, 1-4) 40-15. The Red Dragons knocked off the Wolfpack 32-23 in the other match.
Other top individual scores on a sunny, 80-degree day were Evan Steffen 39 for the Red Dragons and Konner Morgan 54 for the Wolfpack.

SWANSON IS MEDALIST
FALCONER — Carson Swanson toured the layout at Breezewood Links with a 1-over 37 to lead Chautauqua Lake/Westfield to a 31-24 win over Falconer.
The win raised the Eagles’ record to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the division, while the Golden Falcons dropped to 1-3 and 1-2.
Leading the way for Falconer was Channing Brainard with a 42.

CHAUTAUQUA — Southwestern improved to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the division with a narrow 28-27 victory over Clymer/Sherman/Panama at Chautauqua Golf Club.
The Trojans’ Chase Hartnett was the medalist with a 5-over 41.
Cole Johnson shot a 44 for the Wolfpack.
