OLEAN — Junior Austin Miles allowed three hits and one run over five innings while striking out seven as Olean beat Frewsburg 10-2 in nonleague baseball Tuesday.

Dominik Meyers went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored; Sullivan Hoffman doubled and drove in a pair of runs; Miles singled, walked twice and scored three runs; and Ethan Woodring scored twice for the Huskies (1-0), who led 3-0 after the first inning and 6-1 after three innings. Olean tacked on two runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings.

Chase Haglund tripled and scored a run; Aidan Gruber doubled; and Mason Eckman singled and drove in a run for the Bears (0-1). Maddox Sheesley, Drake Beckstrom and Riley LaCross combined to strike out eight batters on the mound for Frewsburg.

SALAMANCA — Zach Trietley and Conner Seeley each hit a home run as Salamanca beat CSAT 6-2 in nonleague baseball Tuesday.

Trietley finished 2 for 2 with four RBIs and Brendon Ghani stole two bases for the Warriors (3-0).

Jake Herrick and Calum Farnum combined to strike out seven batters on the mound.
