ELLICOTTVILLE — The Falconer baseball team scored 12 runs over the first two innings as it defeated Ellicottville 12-2 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 action on Saturday.

Gavin Curtis hit a triple with 3 RBIs and scored twice for Falconer, while Anthony Wood finished 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and a pair of runs and Isaiah Washington connected on a double.

Chase Bianco picked up the win on the mound with six strikeouts for the Golden Falcons.

Ellicottville was led by Ryan Noton going 2 for 2, while Rylan Benjamin took the loss after giving seven earned runs and striking out five over 3 2/3 innings.
