Bretton Blecha of league-champion Franklinville was named the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 4 Player of the Year.

A senior, Blecha averaged 16.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assists per game for the Panthers.

Blecha was joined on the league’s first team by senior teammate Matthew Spittler, who averaged 10.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

Forestville also had a pair of players named to the league’s first team. Sophomore Jacob Anders averaged 17.5 points, 3.9 steals, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, while fellow sophomore William Duliba averaged 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game for the Hornets.

Ellicottville sophomore Blake Smith was named to the first team after averaging 13.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game for the Eagles.

The final member of the first team was Cattaraugus-Little Valley sophomore Tucker Barrick, who averaged 12.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 3.0 assists per game for the Timberwolves.

The second team was made up of Ellicottville sophomore Rylan Benjamin, Franlinville senior Isaac Towne and three players from Pine Valley: senior Trent Ivett, junior Camryn Slade and sophomore James Greene.

Franklinville’s Scott Shenk was named the Coach of the Year, while West Valley earned the Team Sportsmanship Award with senior Slater Smith the Wildcats’ Individual Sportsmanship Award winner.
