Herington, Jadyn Tocki Show The Way
Randolph, Frewsburg Sophomores Share CCAA Division 3 POY Honors

Randolph and Frewsburg split the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 girls basketball title, winning on their home floors in their two regular-season matchups.
The league’s coaches have decided to split the league’s Player of the Year honors as well, honoring Randolph sophomore Skylar Herington and Frewsburg sophomore Jadyn Trocki.
Herington averaged 28.6 points, 3.6 steals, 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the Cardinals, while Trocki averaged 20.5 points, 6.1 assists, 5.1 steals and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Bears.
The pair was joined on the league’s first team by Cassadaga Valley senior Emiley Anderson, Randolph senior Quinn Pence and Falconer senior Augustine Krenzer.
Anderson averaged 22.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 steals and 5.5 assists per game for the Cougars; Pence averaged 11.8 points, 6.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game for the Cardinals; and Krenzer averaged 10.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.7 assists per game for the Golden Falcons.
The second team was made up of Frewsburg seniors Teghan Trocki and Ava Jimerson, Cassadaga Valley senior Aliyah Hopkins, Randolph senior Payton Morrison, and Portville juniors Emme Rhinehart and Ali Haynes.
Randolph’s David Pihlblad was named the league’s Coach of the Year.
Falconer earned the Team Sportsmanship Award with Krenzer the Golden Falcons’ Individual Sportsmanship Award winner. Other individual honorees were: Teghan Trocki, Cassadaga Valley’s Hailey Anderson, Gowanda’s Addison Kota, Portville’s Ashley Carls and Randolph’s Avery Morrison.
