Southwestern Boys Hold Off Dunkirk In D1
Chase Hartnett scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished three assists and had two steals as Southwestern outlasted Dunkirk 58-56 for a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys basketball victory on Tuesday.
Brody Larson added another 9 points, 13 rebounds and three steals for the Trojans (6-10, 3-6), Connor Young made six boards and three assists and Colton Waite had six rebounds.
Dunkirk (5-11, 2-8) was led by Greg Orcutt with 20 points while K’Vion Tell poured in 19 in the effort.
