Jackals Rally From 22-Point Deficit In Kitchener For 117-114 Win Over Titans

KITCHENER, Ont. — The Jamestown Jackals found themselves trailing by 22 points at the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans, but that did not deter them. The Jackals responded with a big second half and brought home the 117-114 win in the Basketball Super League on Monday.

Tyshon Pickett led the attack for the Jackals (9-7, 9-7) with a game-high 29 points, but it was big performances off the bench that lifted Jamestown. Deon Stroud and Devante Jamison checked in and scored 24 and 23 points, respectively, as Jamestown surged past the Titans.

Jamison also added eight assists and eight rebounds, Stroud had three blocks and both Pickett and Emmett Duvall had six boards.

The Titans (12-7, 12-7) were led by Jordan Burns and Samson Akano both scoring 20 points, while Antoine Mason had 15 off the bench.
