Eick’s School-Record 47 Points Lifts Silver Creek Past NC
SILVER CREEK — Brady Eick had a game he’ll never forget.
Making history will do that.
The senior sharp-shooter scored a school-record 47 points, breaking Silver Creek’s previous mark set by Wayne Sumerfeldt in 1976, to lead the Black Knights to an 80-61 victory over North Collins in a nonleague boys basketball game Saturday.
Along the way Eick drilled 10 3-pointers, and was aided by 23 points from teammate Simon White.
Silver Creek improved to 7-8 overall, while North Collins dropped to 4-12.

ELLICOTTVILLE — Aidan DeFazio poured in 34 points and Chase Armstrong added 15 to lead Portville to a 71-59 nonleague victory over Ellicottville.
Tied at halftime, the Panthers outscored Eagles 37-25 in the third and fourth quarters to raise their record to 4-12
Rylan Benjamin, Blake Smith and Dominic Polino had 13 points apiece for Ellicottville (9-7), while Parker John chipped in 10.
