Frewsburg Girls Knock Off McDowell (Pa.)
FREWSBURG — A week after dropping a game to Randolph the Frewsburg girls basketball team has bounced back in a big way. First the Bears posted a dominant victory over Portville on Thursday and then they hosted McDowell (Pa.) for a nonleague contest on Tuesday and posted a 69-55 win.
Ava Jimerson led the Frewsburg (10-2, 5-1 CCAA 3) offense with a game-high 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Jadyn Trocki provided another 20 points, six assists, four blocks, five steals and six rebounds, Taytum Jimerson collected nine rebounds and three assists, Teghan Trocki had four assists and Abery Harvey scored 10 points.
McDowell (3-8, 1-0 D10 Region 6) was led by Leah Major with 20 points and Kasey Netkowicz scored 18.

WILDCATS TAKE DOWN TROJANS
SHERMAN — Emmersen Crawford scored 13 points, collected five rebounds and dealt three assists as Sherman knocked off Southwestern 52-34 in nonleague action.
Kelsey Wagner also posted 13 points for the Wildcats (12-1, 8-0 CCAA 2) along with three steals and two assists. Teagan Gratto added eight more boards and delivered four blocks in the win.
Southwestern (9-2, 6-0 CCAA 1) was led by Marlana Cresanti with 9 points and seven rebounds and Juliet Genareo had six boards.
