Eagles Girls Wrestling Takes Down Niagara Wheatfield
SANBORN — The Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Panama girls wrestling team knocked off No. 1 Niagara Wheatfield 42-21 with seven pins on Tuesday.
Meghan Pauley moved up to 235 pounds to defeat the No. 3-ranked Selene Torres by pin in 5:52, while Gabriella Testa pinned No. 2 Emma Ponzi at 138 pounds.
Kassidy Benedetto improved to 15-2 for the Eagles (3-0), Noli Paddock is now 24-1 and Lilly Hyde remains undefeated at 17-0.
