Stenstrom Hammers 639 Series As Falconer Boys Sweep JHS

JAMESTOWN — The Falconer boys and girls bowling teams posted a pair of 4-0 victories against Jamestown in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action at Jamestown Bowling Company on Tuesday.

Erik Stenstrom hammered 203-213-223-639 as the Golden Falcons posted a linescore of 807-992-1,036-2,898 to Jamestown’s 672-634-522-1,828.

Joshua Lincoln knocked 185-188-247-620 for Falconer, Tyler Swanson rolled 168-233-209-610, Aiden Peters hit 155-201-170-526 and Javier Gonzales scored 156-157-187-503.

Diesel Cowan paced Jamestown with 171-155-146-472 and Collin Jock added a 181 game.

Marabella Parson knocked 164-177-203-544 as the Falconer girls posted a linescore of 623-652-644-1,919 to defeat Jamestown at 614-578-628-1,820.

Rachael Wallace tossed 186-152-479 for Falconer, Alexis Cross hit 156-162-463 and Lydia Cross had a 172 game in her 433 series.

Jamestown was led by Addison Cappalino with 217-166-222-605 while Jami Beaver knocked 166 and Victoria Higbee hit 161.

WOLVES EDGE MAPLE GROVE

JAMESTOWN — The Clymer/Sherman girls rolled 460-548-470-1,478 to sweep Maple Grove’s 430-408-440-1,278 in Division 2.

Mia Whitehead paced the Wolves with a 152 game, while Ayla Kaczar hit 167-144-430 for Maple Grove.

The Clymer/Sherman boys also posted a win, but Maple Grove managed to steal the third game.

The Wolves finished 776-740-624-2,140 to Maple Grove’s 617-691-640-1,948.

Dayton Hosier rolled 165-176-341 for Clymer/Sherman and Max White paced the team with 174-181-157-512.

Evan Steffen led the Red Dragons with 166-189-185-540 and Kam Brown scored 155 in a 268 series.

COUGARS ROLL CHAUTAUQUA LAKE

CLYMER — Both the Cassadaga Valley boys and girls came away with 4-0 wins over Chautauqua Lake in Division 2 at Cutting Lanes.

The boys rolled 623-625-675-,1923 to top the Eagles’ 608-592-594-1,794.

Bradley Windnagle paced the Cougars with 182-161-469, Matthew Runge hit 160-157-433 and Jordon Swanson scored 152-420.

Dayne Jantzi led Chautauqua Lake with a 154-416.

The girls won 508-442-548-1,498 to Chautauqua Lake’s linescore of 376-404-370.

Emma Nickerson led the Cougars with 168-188-494.

SOUTHWESTERN BOYS EDGE SC

JAMESTOWN — Anthony Pratt smashed 186-192-230-608 to lead Southwestern past Silver Creek in Division 1.

The Trojans posted a scoreline of 818-836-724-2,378 to Silver Creek’s 627-667-808-2,104.

Bryce Simon hammered 209-162-519 for the Trojans, Brody Ellis scored 171-163-481, Ethan Lohnes hit 165 and Robbie Bellardo knocked 203-424.

Silver Creek was led by Kevin Murawski’s 174-156-476, Ethan Vecchio hit 190-462, Cody Ramirez had 174-443 and Carter Fuhrman scored a 167.

MONDAY

DUNKIRK BOYS SWEEP JHS

FREDONIA — The Dunkirk boys swept Jamestown 4-0 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association bowling match Monday at Lucky Lanes.

Leading the way for the Marauders were Hans Lemiszko with a 200-525 and Kameron Keppel with a 503. The team linescore was 732-835-747-2,314 compared to 654-666-600-1,980 for the Red & Green.

For Jamestown, Diesel Cowen rolled a 445 series and A.J. Conkright had a 161 game.

In the girls match, the Red & Green prevailed 3-1.

Addison Cappalno smashed a 190-197-552 to lead the way for Jamestown. Jaime Beaver hit a 182-465 and Macy Bailey shot a 179 game.

For the Marauders, Kassidy Donisi shot a 208-526, Hayden Cerrie rolled a 192-482 and Gracey Kozlowski hit a 446.

The linescore for Jamestown was 615-636-604-1,855 compared to 546-624-677-1,847 for Dunkirk.
