Portville’s Gariepy Named CCAA Division 2 MVP

Despite clinching the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 league title with a scoreless draw, Portville scored plenty of goals to earn another trophy and the force behind that offense was sophomore Grace Gariepy.

Pacing the Panthers with 33 goals and five assists, Gariepy earned the league’s top honor as the MVP along with her spot on the First Team.

A trio of Portville seniors join Gariepy on the First Team in Emily Collins, Natalie Reynolds and Ashley Carls. Collins helped the Panthers keep 10 clean sheets on the year, Reynolds provided an assist and Carls scored seven goals and three assists.
