Anderson Leads Cougars Past Wildcats At JCC
JAMESTOWN — Emiley Anderson had 27 points to lead Cassadaga Valley past Sherman 73-55 in nonleague girls basketball at Jamestown Community College on Saturday.
Alexis Pattyson hit three 3-pointers during a 15-4 first quarter and Anderson added 8 points during a 24-14 second quarter as the Cougars led 39-18 at halftime.
Aliyah Hopkins had 13 points, 18 rebounds and five assists; Breonna Hopkins had 13 points and four assists; and Pattyson had 12 points in the game.
Kelsey Wagner and Carlie Gable led Sherman with 11 points apiece. Gable and Emmersen Crawford grabbed six rebounds apiece, while Isa Kioko and Teagan Gratto each had five. Crawford and Wagner each handed out three assists, while Kioko had three steals.
