FREWSBURG — Claire Spielman and Olivia Grey needed three sets, but won at third doubles to secure Frewsburg’s 3-2 victory over Southwestern in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis Monday at the Frewsburg Sports Complex.

Spielman and Grey won the first set 6-1, but dropped a 7-4 tiebreaker to Bailey Bishop and Breanna Horton in the second set to send their match to a deciding third set. There, Spielman and Grey prevailed 6-0.

Danielle Mincarelli and Audrey DeLong won at first doubles, while Inara Meer and Janell Rishel won at second doubles for the Trojans, who forfeited both singles matches.

Jasmine Smith’s win at first singles was the lone victory for Salamanca.
