Fredonia Sweeps Jamestown In Division 1 Action
Londyn Wilmot had eight kills, four aces and five digs as Fredonia swept Jamestown 25-14, 25-14, 25-22 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 girls volleyball Thursday.
Elizabeth Morris added seven kills and four aces; Katherine Forta had six kills and two blocks; and Maddie Saunders had two kills, seven aces and 19 assists for the Hillbillies (3-2, 2-2).
The Red & Green fell to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the league.
GATORS TAKE DOWN GOWANDA
GOWANDA — Allegany-Limestone topped Gowanda 25-15, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21 in Division 2 play.
The Gators improved to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.
Jillian Gernatt led the Panthers (5-2, 3-1) with 32 assists, two aces, two kills and four digs. Addison Kota had 13 kills, six blocks, three aces and 12 digs; Holland Browning had an ace, a block, nine kills and 10 digs; Lauren Kelly had 10 kills, eight blocks and an ace; and Sydney Smith had 13 digs.
CARDINALS CRUISE PAST SALAMANCA
SALAMANCA — Randolph swept Salamanca 25-13, 25-4, 25-11 in Division 2 action.
The Cardinals improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the league.
Hadleigh Krug had six digs and Ayla Newark had two aces for the Warriors (1-5, 1-4).
