The Chautauqua Women’s Golf Association recently held its annual Charity Day fundraiser for a local nonprofit. This year Creche Inc. of Jamestown was the chosen recipient. The format included par 3-hole games, bake sale, Chinese auction, “Circle of Love” hole and “It’s For the Kids” sponsors. With the generosity of so many, through prizes, gifts and financial donations, $4,052 was raised. The check was presented to Erin Tarana and Beth Snow of Creche at the CWGA Gala Day and business meeting on Aug. 27.
