WEST SENECA — Leading Flyers Gymnastics at the Cocoa Cup hosted by Buffalo Turners were Xcel Diamond gymnasts Oliviah LaMountain and her teammate Anelia Pitts.

Pitts took the gold in the all-around with a 35.075. She also claimed second on vault (8.7), second on bars (8.9), first on beam (8.625) and first on floor (8.85). LaMountain took first on vault (8.75), first on bars (9.2), second on beam (7.95), second on floor (8.85) and second in all-around 34.75. LaMountain, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the reigning 2022 state champion and regional medalist at Xcel Platinum.

Finishing in the top 3 in their respective age groups & levels were: Level 3: Elliott Collins, first on floor (9.0); Evelyn Miller, first on bars (9.35); and Claire Thompson, third on floor (9.15). Level 4: Madilyn Gordon, third on bars (8.85). Xcel Silver: Addie O’Connor, second on vault (9.4) and second on bars (9.45); and Reese Anderson, third on bars (9.3). Xcel Gold: Olivia Swanson, second on vault (8.85) and second on beam (8.775); and Kennedy Lynn, second on vault (9.15). Xcel Platinum: Sydney Simmons, first on vault (9.0), second on beam (9.0), first on floor (9.0) and second in all-around (34.8); and Mia Volpe, first on bars (8.9) and third on floor (8.75).
