After an undefeated season it was no surprise that the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds volleyball team flooded the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association postseason awards voted by the coaches.

The Thunderbirds went a perfect 14-0 in league play before going on to win the Section VI Class D championship. Leading the way for the Thunderbirds was league Player of the Year Jenna Waters.

Joining Waters from the Thunderbirds on the first team was sophomore setter Ava Olson and senior middle hitter Lily Woodis. Woodis was also the individual sportsmanship award winner for the Thunderbrids.

The remaining first team spots were filled out by players from second place Maple Grove going 11-3 and third place Panama going 10-4.

Maple Grove juniors Rachael King and Erin Mansfield were named to the first team at outside hitter and setter, respectively. Panama had two juniors named to first team, Jo Bailey at middle hitter and Mandy Brink at setter.

The team sportsmanship award went to the Forestville Hornets. Individual sportsmanship awards for each team went to Makayla Brisley of Brocton, Kristen Wise of Cassadaga Valley, Natalie Johnson of Clymer/Sherman, Alena Thomas of Forestville, Eliza Dawes of Maple Grove, Mackenzie Greene of Panama, and Lauren Bills of Westfield.
