Team Flyers traveled to Philadelphia recently to compete in the Pink Invitational, where more than 3,700 gymnasts attended.

PHILADELPHIA — Team Flyers competed in the Pink Invitational, where more than 3,700 gymnasts attended.

This meet is the largest gymnastics fundraising event in the country. The Pink Invitational donates 100 percent of its proceeds to Unite for Her, an organization that helps women who have/had breast cancer. Team Flyers gymnasts and families raised money and donated towards this cause, receiving a team plaque for their efforts.

Level 8 Kayla Allen came away with a first place all-around in her age division with a 36.50. She also placed first in vault (9.4), second on bars (9.2), first on beam (9.0), and fourth on floor (9.1).

Level 7 Corinne Inkley took second all-around in her age group with a 35.60. She also placed second on vault (9.0), ninth on bars (8.2), first on beam (9.225) and fifth on floor (9.175).

Level 4 Marielle Stanz grabbed second all-around with a 36.775, placing first on beam (9.35) and first on floor (9.45).
