CHAUTAUQUA — The 2018 season of the Chautauqua Lakers Golf program is now open and accepting new athletes. Practices are held each Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Chautauqua Golf Club, 4731 West Lake Road, Chautauqua, N.Y. Special Olympics serves area children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All athletes will be trained in golf skills, etiquette and course play. There will be a large group of volunteers who will train and mentor athletes while building relationships.
