To The Reader’s Forum:

Dear Rep. Langworthy,

It is time you stood up to the President. Congress controls the purse strings, not the President. I’m all for finding waste fraud and abuse when it comes to government spending, but I would look first at the government contracts for military, NASA, and Elon Musk, rather than Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. The ink hadn’t dried on my mother’s death certificate when the Social Security Administration wanted the money for her last payment returned. I don’t believe there are thousands of people 150 years old and older still receiving payments. We hear about this fraud, but we don’t get to see any evidence. Musk, DOGE and Trump lie!

Our foreign policy is a disaster. We have alienated our allies, and apparently aligned with Russia and Putin, making me think that Trump is nothing more than a Russian asset. They clearly helped Musk buy an election. I think Trump is a traitor. Why does he want to annex Canada? Why does he want the mineral rights in Ukraine? Follow the money. Musk needs lithium to build the batteries that go in his cars.

The treatment of those “so-called” Venezuelan terrorists is a disgrace. I have no problem with it if they had been through due process. But I’m reading about people caught in their net who don’t belong. Cases of mistaken identity that would not happen had there been due process. The images of these people remind me too much of the images of Jews in Nazi Germany.

If that is not enough, just look at the group chat between eleven cabinet members including Jeffrey Goldstein. It is clear evidence that this administration is completely and totally incompetent. Each of them should be removed from office, and I believe the president should be impeached.
