Warren Piazza

Warren attended Jamestown High School and went on to become a skilled journeyman Tool and Die maker. With a natural mechanical aptitude, a sharp mind for design engineering, and strong leadership skills, Warren rose to become Vice President at Premium Tool & Die in Jamestown. In 1981, he co-founded Universal Tooling Corporation in Gerry, NY, where he served as President for 41 years.

A man of many passions, Warren was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was also a voracious reader with a keen mind and a legendary quick wit. His humor, however sharp, was always paired with a deeply generous heart–his loyalty and kindness to friends and family were unmatched.

Warren is survived by his brother, Bill Piazza (Kathryn) of Jamestown, NY; his daughter Nichole Segrue (Gary) of Lakewood, NY; daughter Lisa Humbert (Mark); daughter Jeanne Piazza; son Al Perone (Liz); his beloved grandchildren Drake, Sydney, Sophia, Rosemary, and Layne; and a son-in-law Andrew Siegel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Allene Piazza; his cherished wife, Dian Piazza; his daughter, Marla Piazza-Siegel; and his younger brother, Carl Piazza.

Warren’s life was a testament to ingenuity, generosity, and the kind of strength that shapes the lives of everyone around it. He will be deeply missed.

A private service will be held by the family.
