Valli J. Brandt

She was born April 30, 1959, in Erie, PA, and was a daughter of the late Wayne Milton and Iva Jean (Follett) Brandt.

Valli was raised and educated in Corry, PA and graduated in 1977 from the Corry Area High School. She then attended Mercyhurst University graduating in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business/concentration management.

She was the past president of the 1997-1998 Corry High School Band Booster, the past vice president of the Corry Capers Bowling league, the past secretary/scribe at PA Mercyhurst University, as well as the past treasurer of the Elgin Beaverdam Hose Auxiliary.

Valli enjoyed bowling in bowling leagues from 1970 to the 1990s. She worked in retail, factories, clinical, restaurants and the hospital switchboard operator.

She enjoyed raising her children, helping her parents on the farm and taking care of her grandchildren when needed. She loved animals, and enjoyed gardening, people, football, baking and cooking. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and appreciated everything they did for her in her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Hazel and Maud (Miller) Follett, Charles and Vera (Black) Brandt, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Valli is survived by her son Clifford W. Brandt and his wife Lucy of Rochester NY; a daughter, Sara E. Brandt of Corry, PA; grandsons Wyatt of Ohio, and Collynn Dufala of Corry, PA.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
