Ronald J. Macri, 74, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on April 2, 2025, at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, NY. He was born on Aug. 23, 1950, in Dunkirk, NY, to the late Francis Macri and Margret McFarland.
Ronald was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Francis Macri Jr., Theodore Macri, and his beloved sister Linda Jablonka, as well as his daughter, Tara Macri. He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Macri; sons, Kevin LaMar and Patrick LaMar; and grandchildren, Colten Macri, Hope Smith, Sophia LaMar, Destiney LaMar, and Samantha LaMar.
For many years, Ronald was the proud owner of a painting and drywalling business, known for his work ethic and craftsmanship. In his spare time, Ronald had a love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. He was also passionate about Karate and had a deep admiration for the sport. A true Steelers fan, he could often be found cheering for his team. Ronald was also an avid collector of coins and Zippo lighters, finding joy in these unique treasures.
Ronald’s sense of humor, kindness, and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
