Rodney Hillyard

He was born on July 19, 1955, in Jamestown, NY, a son to the late Walter and Joan (Hall) Hillyard. Rod went on to become an Electrical Contractor. He enjoyed camping and fishing and above all, he liked working on vehicles, especially his 1970 Road Runner.

Rod is survived by his children, Keprena Ruby of Warren, PA and Kyle Hillyard, and his wife, Samantha, of Erie, PA; his grandchildren; his siblings, Walter Hillyard of Nichols, SC, Alice Kerper of Warren and Alan Hillyard, and his companion, Glenn Freeburg, of Tidioute, PA and his longtime companion, Dawn Oshell.

In addition to his parents, Rod was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Reitz.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at UPMC Chautauqua for the kindness and care they gave to Rod over the last several years.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
