Marilyn L. Eckman

She was born on March 8, 1931 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Harry and Maureen Anderson Breneman.

Marilyn was a graduate of Jamestown High School and a member of Kiantone Congregational Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed canning and loved to cook and bake. She had a special love for all of her dogs, especially her current one, a Pomeranian named “Buddy.” Marilyn was a dedicated farm housewife and mother and was still helping on the family farm baling hay until she was 91.

Marilyn is survived by her three sons, Jeff (Lynn) Eckman, Paul (Cathy) Eckman, Peter (Lisa) Eckman, all of Russell, PA; two daughters, Nancy Ernewein of Busti, and Janice (DJ) Nordlund of Kiantone; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother Gary Breneman; and a sister Pat Pierce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen R. Eckman whom passed away on June 14, 2006; a sister Joyce Giardina; and a son-in-law David Ernewein.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kiantone.
