Franklin H. Patterson

He was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Angelica, NY, a son of the late Carl and Marion Silsby Patterson.

He was a veteran of the US Army and was employed by Aluminum Contracting following his discharge from the service.

Franklin enjoyed classic cars, listening to old country music and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are five children Scott (Amanda) Rogers, Kevin (Amy) Patterson, Karen (Tony) Anderson, Jeffrey (Gladys) Patterson and Keith Patterson; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven sisters MelRose Gendron, Anna Taylor, Cora Cooper, Betty Patterson, Carol Frandink, Wilma Patterson, and Joyce Frye, and a brother Wesley Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Frankson Patterson, whom he married Aug. 31, 1967 and who died April 9, 2002 and siblings James Silsby, Forrest Patterson, Marybell Carlson, Marion Patterson, Carl “Tex” Patterson, Sarah Macri and Marshall Patterson.

The funeral will be held at 1 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kiantone.
