Ann D. Daniels, 70, of Barrows St, Jamestown, formerly of Ellery Center, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Absolut Care of Westfield. She was born in Jamestown on July 21, 1954, to Marie Cole Stanton and the late Terrance Stanton.
A woman of deep faith, Ann graduated from JHS in 1974 and worked as a machinist at Weber Knapp for 19 years. In later years, she compassionately cared for her mother-in-law and continued as a personal health care aide.
Foster parenting brought Ann fulfilling joy for many years. So, too, she shared her love for baking with many people throughout the years, making and decorating countless birthday and wedding cakes.
Ann’s religious upbringing stayed with her for all her years. Experiencing the Lord through many local Baptist churches, the call to attend and worship remained with her, even as long-term dementia dominated her brain.
An artistic hand, Ann enjoyed arts and crafts, especially sewing.
She will be missed by her husband, Duane Daniels, whom she married Oct. 2, 1976, at Hillcrest Baptist Church; and her children, Corey Daniels of Dunkirk and Kelly Daniels of Jamestown.
Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sister and her two brothers.
A private family graveside service will be held.
