Matthew “Matt” Gordon Snyder

Matthew “Matt” Gordon Snyder

Matthew “Matt” Gordon Snyder, 40, of Ripley, NY, passed away on March 11th following a brief illness. He was born on June 20, 1984, in Austin, TX, to Bobetta and James Snyder.

Matt attended Cassadaga Valley Central School and was a proud member of the Class of 2003. Matt was deeply dedicated to the fire service, proudly serving as a volunteer with the Sinclairville Fire Department. Though his tenure was cut short due to chronic back issues, his commitment to protecting the community never wavered.

He is survived by his mother, Bobetta, of Jamestown; his brothers, Joe and Jeremy Snyder of Salamanca, and Dan (Chelsea) Lucariello of Gerry; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews, Marrisa, Landon, Emily, and Vinny. He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Above all, Matt’s greatest joy in life was his children, Rilynn, Noah, and Nolan Snyder. He loved them fiercely and fought tirelessly to be a part of their lives. Though he is no longer physically present, his love endures, and if they look for the signs, they will surely find him watching over them.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025, from 1pm-3pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. 111 S. Main St Jamestown NY 14701.
