Deborah L. “Debbie” Rexford

A lifelong area resident she was born May 22, 1957 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Lawrence G. “Stub” and Maxine A. Overturf Brown.

Debbie was a 1976 graduate of Falconer High School. Prior to retirement she was employed by Lutheran Social Services and Heritage Ministries.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Ellington Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Hand & Foot Card Club Group. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and friends.

Surviving are her two children: Jennifer Gagnon (Derek Ahlquist) of Kennedy, Shawn (Melissa) Rexford of Warren; six grandchildren: Lyla and Brodie Gagnon, Ryleii and Isaac Ahlquist, Zach and Dylan Roberts; two brothers: Lawrence “Stubby” (Amy) Brown II of Friendship, NY, Daniel (Cindy) Brown of Erie, PA; two sisters: Cora (Bud) Kaltenbach of East Randolph, Betty Jo (Randy) Caldwell of Raeford, NC; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Allen and Christopher Brown.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gerry Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the funeral service Friday in the funeral home.
