Sharon K. Rexford

She was born June 21, 1958, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Torgerson Burt.

Sharon was a graduate of Falconer Central Schools.

Before her retirement she worked at the Lutheran Home nursing home as a certified nurse’s assistant for many years.

Sharon enjoyed doing puzzles and loved her many cats throughout the years.

Surviving are her two sons David Rexford of Jamestown, and Jason (Julia) Rexford of Jamestown; and her brother Douglas (Caren) Burt.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David L. Rexford whom she married Sep. 27, 1980, and who died Feb. 5, 2025.

A memorial service for both David and Sharon will be held at 3 pm Saturday Feb. 22, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm on Friday Feb. 21, at The Lind Funeral Home.
