Lynn C. Blasdell

A Jamestown resident all her life, she was born Oct. 15, 1958, a daughter of the late Rexford and Irene Dahlin Smith.

She was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Chase and later M&T Bank as a teller for 25 years. She also worked at the James Prendergast Library for several years.

She was a member of Zion Covenant Church.

Surviving is her husband Jeff Blasdell, whom she married June 16, 1976; two sons Mark (Kristy) Blasdell, and Andrew Blasdell both of Jamestown; four grandchildren Avery, Evan, Gavin and Jeffrey Blasdell, and a brother Richard Smith of Virginia.

The funeral will be held at 3 pm Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received two hours prior to the service from 1-3 pm Thursday.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
