Donald W. “Don” Raymond, 69, of Frewsburg, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends after a brief illness.
He was born on November 22, 1955 in Buffalo, NY to Raymond L. and Judith Swanson Raymond.
Don was a 1975 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and the auto tech program at Hewes Educational Center in Ashville.
He retired from Frewsburg Central School and in earlier years was employed at Chautauqua Hardware and Struthers Wells in Warren, PA.
Don was a man of many passions, he was an avid outdoor sportsman with hunting, fishing, camping, horseshoes, cornhole, gardening, and time with his family and friends. He was also a big Buffalo Bills fan. He was known as a jack of all trades that would drop everything to help family and friends in need.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years Deborah J. “Deb” Spicer Raymond; a daughter Christina (Miller) Pitts; two sons Jason (Anna) Raymond and Steven (Alicia) Raymond; six grandchildren: Lauren (fiance Lane), Steven, Jr., Mason, and Colton Raymond and Evan and Ethan Pitts; one great-grandchild Addison White; a brother William J. Raymond; brother-in-law Mike (Donna) Spicer; sister-in-law Rita (Ed) Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Raymond; mother Judith Swanson Robson; brother Edward R. Raymond; and in-laws Duane and Joyce Spicer.
Following Don’s wishes, no service or visitation will be observed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
