Diane H. Hill

She was born on July 28, 1952, in Olean, New York to Ralph and Barbara Hollis. Diane grew up in Lakewood, New York and attended Southwestern High School, and Alfred State College. Her career as a Histotechnologist spanned 33 years and brought her from New York to Florida. She took great pride in her work and cherished all the friendships she made along the way.

Diane was an artist at heart, and found joy in whatever project she set her mind to. Whether it was ceramics, basket weaving, or designing jewelry, she was always happy to share her art with family, friends, and neighbors.

Diane is survived by her children, Matthew Hill and Kathryn Daly (Kevin), grandchildren, Ireland Hill, Riley Hill, Madison Daly, and Jack Daly, mother, Barara Hollis, siblings, Debbie Sanders Carter Hollis, and Robert Hollis, several nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend, Colleen Helms. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hollis.

A private memorial service to celebrate and honor Diane’s life will be held in Lakewood, New York.
