Carmelo Espinosa
Carmelo Espinosa, aged 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 6, 1942 in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, Carmelo lived a life defined by courage, strength and perseverance.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Carmelo never wavered in his love for his family or the commitment to living life fully. He was a devoted husband to Victoria for over 56 years and father of their seven children: Richard (Quety), Rev. Eric (Yanira), Yesenia (Rev. Alfonso Pagan), Mabel (John), Abel, Maj USMC (Ret) (Jessica), Lisandra (Joseph), and Yaritza (Rev. Luis Ramirez); and grandfather of 15 grandchildren. He believed in the power of family and dedicated his life to creating a loving and supportive home. Carmelo’s stories, advice, gentle spirit and steady presence will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Friday, February 7th in the Lind Funeral Home, 805 W. Third St., Jamestown, with a funeral service to be held at 7 PM Friday in the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Rev. Alfonso Pagan and burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 AM.
