Brenda L. Ackley, 62, of 2829 Mitchell Road, Jamestown, NY, died Jan. 30, 2025, at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born Aug. 21, 1962, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of Rosetta A. Zanardo Ackley and the late Larry I. Ackley.
Prior to retirement, Brenda worked registration at WCA for 17 years and, before that, she was a hairdresser.
Brenda enjoyed her dogs and mowing the lawn; further, she appreciated taking on home improvements.
Brenda is survived by her mom, Rosetta A. Zanardo Ackley; her brother, Craig N. (Heidi) Ackley of Wake Forest, NC; her sisters, Sindy Ackley of Jamestown, Shirley Mosier of Franklin, PA, and Juan Aires Castro of New Zealand. Also, Brenda leaves behind her nephew, Chad (Lisa) Vanguilder, Dylan Silliman, and Dawson Silliman, all of Warren, PA; Brandi and Damon Shields of Philadelphia, PA; Danielle and Greg Ackley of Durham, NC; John Ackley of TX; Esteban Aries of Costa Rica; Grettle Aries of Costa Rica; and her best friends, Nichole Cady, Becky Frye, Marianne Conell, Carol Parker, Danny and Jody Butera, and Kevin Delong.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Larry I. Ackley.
In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, no funeral services or visitation will be observed. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
