Thomas (Tom) Michael Nazzaro

He was born December 1, 1947, in Jamestown, NY. to Thomas and Mary Nazzaro in Jamestown, NY. Tom graduated from Jamestown High School in 1966.

Tom was a hard worker, his latest job was driving truck for Federal Express where he happily worked until the age of 70. He was a furniture salesman for decades in different stores; he was often referred to as, “The Chair Man” in Jamestown, NY. Tom most enjoyed the simple things in life like classic cars, country music, going to dinner with family and friends or just taking a beautiful country drive to see the cows. When Tom walked through the door his family and friends knew they were getting a real hug. Tom was a father, brother, grandfather (Papa), uncle, cousin and a friend to everyone. Tom was the kind of man you always felt good being around. He loved with all his heart, he was gentle, folks were happy around Tom and felt safe and never judged. He lived his life with his heart on his sleeve, to really know Tom was to love him dearly. He will be missed by many; the memories, lessons and values will live on in those lucky enough to have received it.

Tom is survived by three children Teel (Brian) Wolcott of Sinclairville, NY, Tricia (Harry) Bailey of Jamestown, NY, and Tommy (Faith) Nazzaro of Lexington, NC; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters Maryann Nazzaro of Jamestown, NY and Cathy Hitchcock of Jamestown, NY, and a niece, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may visit Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home in Jamestown, NY Saturday January 4, 2025, from 11am-1pm.
