Sharon M. Scott, 86, previously of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Corry Manor. She was born to the late Henry and Bertha Harvey Scott in Jamestown on July 10, 1938.
Following graduation from Bemus Point High School in 1956, Sharon attended Jamestown Business College. Her education led her to hold many office and manufacturing positions throughout the country. She spent many years out west, enjoying her time in Omaha and Las Vegas specifically.
Sharon leaves behind many nieces and nephews including Debbie, Deanna, Scott, David, Todd, Frank, John, and Michelle; her aunt, Ellen Newman; several cousins as well as great nieces and nephews; as well as her very best friend since childhood, Pat Smith.
Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her step-dad who raised her, Larry Rindfleisch, along with her sisters, Sandy and Sheila.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, no visitation will be observed. A private family graveside service will be held at Fluvanna Cemetery in the Spring.
