Maureen Kay (Courtney) Mayer

She was born June 3, 1958 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Charles Donald and Adria Miller Congdon Courtney. Miss Courtney was a 1976 graduate of Falconer Central School and Fredonia (SUNY) University with a Master’s in Education and Administration.

She is survived two sons Robert Charles Mayer and Brian Ronald Mayer; a daughter Courtney Lynn Pritchard; a grand-daughter Victoria “Tory” Pritchard; and her siblings, Charles D. Courtney Jr., Mary Ann Courtney Keyser, Barbara June Courtney Washburg with whom she shared a home, and Carol Adria Courtney Easton, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles D. Courtney Sr., and mother Adria Congdon Courtney; two brothers infant James Peter Courtney, and Brian James Courtney in 2009.

As per Maureen’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services observed. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph.
