Lisa A. Rhinehart, 51, of Falconer passed away Thursday (January 9, 2025) in her home after an extended illness.

She was born November 21, 1973 in Jamestown, the daughter of Jack Hazzard and Gloria Jean Jeasen.

Lisa was a graduate of Frewsburg Central High School and was a member of the high school track team, cheerleading squad and played Babe Ruth softball. She attended JCC, D’Youville College, and graduated from Gannon University with a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She was employed with Jamestown Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher for 17 years.

Lisa enjoyed attending and supporting her daughters Hannah and Emily’s sporting events. She loved watching Hannah’s dance, cross country, and track events. She promoted and adored Hannah’s artwork. Lisa was a huge sports Mom for her daughter Emily’s soccer, basketball, and softball teams. She was a softball mom through and through having supported Falconer High School Softball as well as traveling teams in Erie and Buffalo for the last 4 years. Lisa also enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, vacationing, refurbishing furniture, family dinners and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She was also a cheerleader coach for Washington MS and JHS for a few years.

She is survived by her beloved husband Paul B. Rhinehart who has stood by her side for 29 years. They were married July 6, 1996 in Busti Federated Church. Also surviving are two daughters: Hannah Chae Rhinehart of Lakewood, Emily Rhinehart of Falconer; her father Jack Hazzard of Beverly Hills, Florida, her mother Gloria Jean Jeasen of Inverness, FL; two brothers: Stephen Hazzard of Japan, Steven Gustafson of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the memorial service Saturday.
