Kenneth R. Boone, 72, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving wife Barbara, his son Christopher, his daughter Rebecca and his brother-in-law Arthur L. Kling.
Ken was born on Jan. 20, 1952, in Louisville, KY, the son of the late James A. Boone and Ophelia Bernice Fulkerson Boone Humble Catlett of Louisville, KY.
Ken graduated from St. Xavier High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Kentucky. Ken retired in 2019 from Titan X.
Ken was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Frewsburg and a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. He enjoyed playing Bluegrass music Wednesday nights at Celoron American Legion Post #777 Hermen Kent.
Ken is survived by his wife Barbara A. Kling Boone whom he married on October 28, 1978, his mother and stepfather Bernice (John) Catlett of Louisville, KY, his son Christopher T. Boone of Rochester, N.Y.; his daughter Rebecca E. Boone of Rochester, N.Y.; his brother: Kevin J. (Doretta) Boone of Georgetown, IN; three sisters Judy Bernauer, Janette (David) King, and Kristi Boone all of Louisville, KY.
