Kenneth A. “Ken” Peterson
Kenneth A. “Ken” Peterson, 91, formerly of Frewsburg, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 in Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1933 in Jamestown, a son of the late Raymond and Vivian Huckleberry Peterson.
Ken was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Samuel Derby Post 556.
Prior to retirement, he was employed for 40 years at MRC-TRW Company and had also owned and operated a farm in Frewsburg.
Ken is survived by his good friends, Terry and Debbie Arndt, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Bentley Peterson, who passed away on Dec. 21, 2011; two sisters: Janice Hagglund, Carol Bloomberg-Fox; and three brothers: Stanley, Richard, and Victor Peterson.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes no service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Ellington.
