Kathleen “Kaye” Fessenden

Kathleen “Kaye” Fessenden, age 79, of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Austin Trace Rehabilitation Center. Kathleen was born in Erie, PA. on August 9, 1945 to the late Dayton Leroy and Charlotte Mae Pierce.

Kathleen’s career started with Welch’s Grape Juice in Westfield, NY, and then she went onto The Frewsburg Pharmacy and finally retired in 1995 from the Jamestown Cycle Shop as a Bookkeeper.

She was a member of the First United Church in Frewsburg, NY and also was very active at Southbrook Church in Miamisburg, OH. She enjoyed leading bible studies, was a prayer warrior and was a follower of Jesus. She was a great listener. She enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills play and was an avid fan. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She had a very warm smile and a loving touch.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 2009, her son-in-law, Mike in 2015, her brother, Dayton, her sister, Sandy and her sister-in-law, Pat.

She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Kaye (TJ Pelton) Walter, Melanie (Dan) O’Rourke; her five grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin) Gustin, Karlie (Barret) Bender, Allison O’Rourke, Lyndsey (Austin) Powell, Andrew Walter; her two great-granddaughters, Laiken and Brinley Gustin; her brother, Ed Pierce and her sister-in-law, Dorie.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N Main St Springboro, OH.
