Joyce L. Weber

She was born on June 8, 1936 in Busti, a daughter of the late Henning and Evelyn Jensen Holmquist.

Joyce was a 1954 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and earned an associates degree at Eastman Dental School.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she helped with vacation bible school and was a member of the church women’s group. She was a literacy volunteer at the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville and enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling, and swimming.

Prior to retirement, she was a dental hygienist for Dr. Ronald Carlson in Falconer for many years.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald E. Weber who she married February 22, 1957; a daughter Mary Johnson; two sons Joel (Barbara) Weber and Timothy (Enriquita) Weber; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David E. Weber, who passed away on December 8, 2021; and a sister Carolyn Graham.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 13, 2025 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Pastor Phillip Roushey will officiate.

Friends will be received from 4-6 pm on Sunday and for one hour prior (10-11am) to the service on Monday in the funeral Home.
