Ernest (Ernie) Hendrickson
Ernest (Ernie) Hendrickson, 93, of Falconer, NY, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at the Heritage Green Rehabilitation Facility. He was born on July 10, 1931, to the late Carl Hendrickson and Hilda (Bogren) Hendrickson in Jamestown, NY
Ernest was a 1949 graduate of Jamestown High School in Jamestown, NY. He served in the United States Navy from 1953 to 1957 and was assigned to the USS Newport News from 1955 to 1957.
In 1956, Ernest married Norma (Johnson) Hendrickson. Both Ernest and Norma enjoyed raising chickens, pigs and dairy cows on their farm.
Ernest was employed by Jamestown Metal Products prior to becoming partners with Roger Edborg of Edborg’s Appliance Store for many years.
In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his wife Norma in 2020 and his sister Irene (Hendrickson) Duncan in 1991.
Ernest is survived by his sister Carol (Hendrickson) Olson and several nieces and nephews.
No service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.
