Suzanne D. Joyce

She was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late William and Catherine Daly Joyce.

She was a 1964 graduate of Jamestown High School and went on to earn a degree in Counseling from Jamestown Community College.

She was employed by WCA Hospital and Lakeview Shock Facility as a counselor. Her work was always about helping others.

Suzy was 40-plus years sober and was a member of Alcoholic Anonymous.

Surviving are two sons Ryan (Kathy) Lindstrom of Fairport, N.Y. and Michael (Debbie) Lindstrom of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren Thomas and Jack Lindstrom, and a sister Kathy Joyce of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alonzo Hilson, Sept. 3, 2017; and two sisters Judy Joyce and Patricia Bishko.

In keeping with Suzy’s wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
