Richard L. Confere

Richard L. Confere of Ripley, NY passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024 at the age of 57. He was born on January 15, 1967 in Daytona Beach, FL to Mildred Confere Lewis and Richard Confere.

Richard worked for Rossi Rooter in Scranton, PA where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He had a passion for working on cars and took great joy in spending time with his grandsons whom he adored. Richard was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ripley, NY.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Jennifer L. Confere of Ripley, NY, his father Richard A. Lewis and step-mother Candy Lewis of Ormond Beach, FL; mother-in-law Molly Bidwell; his sisters Ann Kidd of Kannapolis, NC and Marie (Confere) Harding of Concord, NC and his children Jenny Burnett of Stockton, NY, Edward Floyd and Andrew Confere of Sinclairville, NY. He was a devoted grandfather to Sebastian and Sawyer Burnett as well as Theodore, Lyanna and Conner Confere. He is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles and friends.

Richard will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the first Presbyterian Church of Ripley, NY with Pastor Phil Johnson officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Fantauzzi Funeral Home in Fredonia, NY.
