Margaret M. Lombard
Margaret M. Lombard, 94, of Jamestown, formerly of Buffalo, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024.
Margaret was born December 19, 1930, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Patrick and Catherine Waldron Long.
She was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy.
Prior to retirement, she was employed by Metro Roberts Realty. Earlier, she worked at both Buffalo State University and University at Buffalo.
She was a communicant of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Kenmore, and SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Jamestown.
Surviving are her four children: Robert (Diane) Lombard of Cheektowaga, Mary (Keith) Boardway of Lindenhurst, Illinois, David Lombard of Los Angeles, CA, and Kimberly (Lee Schneider) Lombard; she is also survived by 8 grandchildren Christopher, Michael (Nick), Colin (Renee), Tyler (Bri), Emery, Bellz, Ruby, McKenna; 3 great grandchildren Cody, Alice, Palmer; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lombard (died 1990), parents, and 14 cherished siblings.
Margaret’s enduring quality was her willingness to help out in little ways to many people. She was beloved by everyone she knew and especially recently by her caring staff at Memory Garden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, Dec 28, in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Jamestown.
Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Tonawanda, at a later date to be determined.
Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Friday, Dec 27, at the Lind Funeral Home, 805 W 3rd St, Jamestown.
